Grilled Salmon

Salmon on the grill is easy to prepare, very tasty, and provides some good and healthy Omega-3 fatty acids for your body.


Buy a 1-1/2 to 2 pound filet of fresh Atlantic salmon–the thicker, the better. Wash in cold water, then brush with olive oil. (The oil keeps it extra moist while grilling, but is optional.) Sprinkle with lemon pepper and grill on medium direct heat, skin side down for approximately 20 minutes or until the temperature reaches 145 degrees F in the thickest part of the filet. Serve with a fresh vegetable such as grilled or steamed asparagus or squash.
